When Love Comes Late Chapter: 2376

Before Betsey could hit send, Stella lunged forward, snatching the phone from her grasp and hurling it to the floor with a resounding crash.

Her eyes alight with anger, Stella warned sharply, “Don’t stir up trouble.”

Betsey, taken aback by Stella’s boldness, stumbled over her words.

However, her shock quickly morphed into outrage as she began to yell, “So, Stella, just because you’re Mrs. Clark, you think you’re above us all? Making a spectacle and tossing insults around!”

Their confrontation quickly attracted a crowd, with murmurs and whispers spreading Like wildfire.

Stella, determined to end this, pulled out her own phone to call the authorities.

But before she could dial, her phone began to ring, with Clint on the Line.

Stella was about to press the answer key when Betsey made a grab for it and smashed it against the floor, declaring triumphantly, “Now we’re even.”

Anxious about Clint and losing patience, Stella scrambled to gather her broken phone, only to find it unresponsive.

Observing her distress, Sanford offered his phone without hesitation.

Stella gratefully accepted it and dialed Clint’s number swiftly.

Meanwhile, Betsey, realizing the tide was turning against her, quietly edged toward the exit, hoping to escape the escalating scene.

Sanford stepped in front of Betsey, saying, “You can’t leave until we settle this.”

Betsey burst into loud yells, her voice high and sharp. “What are you up to? Are you trying to limit my freedom? Does bullying two elderly people like us make you think you’re capable?”

Leona cut in, “Exactly. He and Stella are in an improper relationship, and we caught them in the act. Now he’s trying to shut us down because he’s scared.”

After speaking, she kept badmouthing Stella to the people around her.

“Look at this woman. She’s married, but now she’s flirting with other men.”

Some people recognized Stella and whispered to each other.

As the situation became more chaotic, Sanford asked the saleswoman to call the police.

Stella tried calling Clint, but the call didn’t connect. Betsey and Leona kept bothering her, leaving her frustrated and anxious.

She walked up to Betsey, her eyes filled with a clear warning. “If anything happens to my grandfather, you’ll be sorry.”

She turned to Sanford and said, “I have to check on my grandfather.”

Sanford nodded. “Go on. I’ll take care of everything here.”

Stella gave a quick nod and rushed out.
