When Love Comes Late Chapter: 2390

When he saw Lindsay sprawled on the floor, he hurried back, carefully lifting the wheelchair off her. His voice carried a touch of frustration as he said, “What were you thinking? That was reckless! Do you realize you could have made your injury worse?”

Lindsay looked up at him, her expression aggrieved, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. In a quiet, trembling voice, she murmured, “I’m sorry ~ I didn’t mean to. I just didn’t want you to see me Like this…”

Her words faltered, breaking off as her emotions overwhelmed her.

Matthew Let out an exasperated sigh before helping Lindsay to her feet.

After Lindsay’s dramatic outburst, Matthew had Lost the desire to watch her rehabilitation session. “Never mind. Forget it. I’ll have Ronan send me today’s results instead. I have urgent matters to attend to at the company, so I’ll be Leaving now.”

He then turned to Fernando, who was standing nearby. “Stay here and make sure to take Lindsay home afterward.”

Fernando nodded. “Yes, sir.”

Once Matthew left, a nurse pushed Lindsay’s wheelchair into the rehabilitation room, with Ronan following behind.

Fernando, on the other hand, waited outside.

Meanwhile, Robin arrived at the car dealership.

He Looked around the place but didn’t see Stella, so he went over and asked an employee nearby. “Where’s the car belonging to the woman I spoke with last time?”

It took the employee a moment to realize that Robin was referring to Stella. “Our staff are returning the car to Mrs. Clark,” the employee responded truthfully.

Robin said nothing more and drove away from the dealership.

Once he was back on the road, he made a few calls, planning to go for drinks with his friends that evening.

Just as he hung up on one friend after making plans, he spotted Stella’s car.

A mischievous glint appeared in Robin’s eyes as an idea occurred to him at that moment. He stepped on the accelerator and rammed into Stella’s car without hesitation.

The dealership employees in Stella’s car were shocked by Robin’s action, panic written all over their faces.

They hadn’t expected Robin to do something so reckless and crazy. They didn’t know what to do. What was the best course of action in a situation Like this?

One brave employee got out of Stella’s car and approached Robin’s. “Hey, what on earth are you doing?” he demanded. “This was intentional!”

Unfortunately, Robin seemed unfazed. He made no move to get out of the car at all.

He leaned against the car window, giving the employee a nonchalant gaze.

“Tell Stella to contact me for the insurance.”

With that, Robin put on his sunglasses, gunned the engine, and sped away from the scene.

The employees just stood there in bewildered silence. They exchanged worried glances, unsure of how to react or what to do next.
